Why Airplane Mode no longer protects us from wireless radiation

In older model iPhones, activating Airplane or Flight mode would usually turn off all of the wireless radio frequency radiation (RF-EMF's) emitting from the iphone. But things have changed in the last year or so and we can no longer rely on Airplane Mode to protect us from wireless radiation.
So why has this changed? Well years ago we could fly in planes without WiFi on-board and we did not use wireless headphones and earbuds. So we never needed the antennas for WiFi and Bluetooth to be activated when flying. But now, many people want to access the onboard WiFi and use Bluetooth, so the manufacturers have changed the software so Airplane Mode no longer disables the WiFi and Bluetooth antennas. It only disables the Cellular/Mobile Data antenna.
So if you are sleeping next to your phone, relying on Airplane Mode to keep you safe, we recommend you review the settings to ensure all the antennas are truly OFF including WiFi, Bluetooth, Find My Phone, Find my Network and Location Settings AND then measure with an EMF meter because some newer model mobile phones even emit when completely OFF!!

So what should my iphone settings look like to stop the RF-EMF's from emitting?
On an iPhone the settings should look like this:
Note:
To turn off Find My Phone and Find My Network go to Settings/Select your Name at the top/Find My Phone or Find My Network
To turn off Location Settings go to Settings/Privacy/Location Services
Some newer model iPhones and Androids emit wireless radiation even when they are OFF!!! If this is happening with your phone you will want to use a Faraday Phone Bag to fully block the RF-EMF's or put it in another room
If you see Not Connected or White or Blue icons your iphone is still emitting significant levels of radiation. You will need to go to Settings to turn those antennas completely Off. Or you can use Apple Shortcuts to make this process easier and faster for frequent use.
If you have an Android phone the same might be happening so we recommend checking your settings and measuring with an EMF meter to be sure you are safe from wireless radiation.
At Safer EMF we do not recommend sleeping next to your phone regardless of how off you think it is. We recommend using a battery operated alarm clock and removing all other technology from the bedroom.
